With reference to the subject matter and documents as aforementioned, this is to notify you that, the Procuring Entity has decided to give this NoA for delivery, printing and 1st Issuing of an additional 7,750 (In words: Seven Thousand Seven Hundred and Fifty) pieces of Rapid Pass (FeliCa IC) Card bearing a value BDT. 18,21,250/- (In Words: Taka Eighteen-Lac Twenty-One Thousand Two-Hundred and Fifty Only) in the same unit rate of your Tender dated 15.06.2023, which was submitted for ‘Procurement of Rapid Pass (FeliCa IC) Card, SAM (Secure Access Module) and Associated Service’ and had been accepted and approved by the Procuring Entity.
Therefore, you are requested to:
i. accept in writing this NoA for Additional Purchase within 2 (Two) Working Days of its issuance but no later than 14.11.2023.
ii.
(a) furnish an extended Performance Security, having a validity period till 02.12.2025 as instructed on 01.11.2023 by the Procuring Entity and in the form of Bank Guarantee from the same scheduled bank which issued the original bank guarantee submitted by you on 31.10.2023.
(b) However, due to the additional Purchase the value of amended/revised Contract Agreement would be BDT. 3,46,46,250 (In Words: Taka Three Crore Forty-Six Lac Forty-Six Thousand Two-Hundred and Fifty only; inclusive VAT and TAX, deductible at source if applicable). Therefore, the amount of the revised/extended Performance Security would be not less than 10% of the amended/revised Contract Agreement Value and bearing the amount of BDT. 34,64,625/- (In words: Taka Thirty-Four Lac Sixty-Four Thousand Six-Hundred and Twenty-Five Only) in accordance with PPR-2008 Clause-27(1).
(c) The Beneficiary would be same as before which was ‘The Project Director, Establishment of Clearing House for Integrating Transport Ticketing System in Dhaka City and Adjacent Districts (Phase-II) Project’.
(d) The deadline of submission of this revised/extended Performance Security within 7 (Seven) days of accepting this NoA for Additional Purchase but no later than 21.11.2023.
iii. sign an amended Contract Agreement in lieu of the Original Contract Agreement within 14 (Fourteen) days of issuance of this NoA for Additional Purchase but no later than 26.11.2023.
iv. supply all the listed goods, additional goods and complete related services by 01.03.2023 as per the original contract agreement.
You may proceed with the execution of the aforementioned amended Contract Agreement only upon completion of the tasks bearing Serial-(i) to Serial-(iii). You may also please note that, this Notification of Award (NoA) for Additional Purchase will constitute the formation of the amended Contract Agreement, which shall become binding upon you.
