An e-GP awareness workshop was held on 23rd December 2021 in Dinajpur. Deputy Commissioner of Dinajpur district Mr. Md, Khaled Mohammad Zaki was present as the chief guest in the workshop while Director of Central Procurement Technical Unit (CPTU) and Joint Secretary Mr. Md. Aziz Taher Khan presided over the program. 

Mr. Md. Khaled Mohammad Zaki said e-GP is not new anymore. The main objective of the system is to ensure transparency, accountability and optimal use of funds in public procurement.

Clear idea, positive attitude and change in mindset without blaming the system can lead to successful implementation of e-GP.

Additional Police super of Dinajpur Mr. Md. Rezwanul Islam and Chief Executive Officer of Dinajpur Zilla Parisad Mr. Md. Zainul Abedin spoke as special guests in the program. Deputy Director of BCCP Meher Afroze gave welcome address and presentation on e-GP.

Participants in the question-answer (Q &A) and open discussion session raised a variety of questions on public procurement rules, e-GP system and other relevant issues.

Representatives from different procurement entities, e-GP registered tenderers as well as bank officials and journalists took part in the workshop.
