A workshop to enhance awareness and adoption of electronic government procurement (e-GP) among stakeholders was held in Tangail on October 28, 2021.

Mr. Md. Aknur Rahmam, Deputy Director, CPTU, and Deputy Secretary, spoke as chairperson at the e-GP awareness workshop at DC Office Conference Room in Tangail.

Dr. Md. Ataul Gani, Deputy Commissioner, Tangail, was present as Chief Guest. Subrata Kumar Sarker, CEO, Zilla Parishad and Mr. Sarwar Hosssin, Additional Police Super attended it as Special Guests.

About 60 participants comprising representatives from procuring entities, tenderers, banks, civil society and media in Tangail district took part in the workshop organized by the CPTU and facilitated by BCCP under the Digitizing Implementation and Public Procurement Project (DIMAPP).

The CPTU has been implementing DIMAPPP from July 2017 with support from the World Bank.
