Title : CPTU signs contract on MCIPS courses

The CPTU signed a contract on 22 June 2021 for consulting services on conducting “Member Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply” (MCIPS) courses for procurement professionals with a joint venture of CIPS, UK and BIGD of BRAC University, at the Conference Room of CPTU.

The UK-based CIPS stands for Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply. Signed under the DIMAPP Project, the contract will continue for 26 months.

The primary objective of this assignment is to implement the procurement core competence program–developing a cohort of internationally accredited procurement professionals in the country with the knowledge of international best practices in procurement, contract management and supply chain management.  

A total of 75 government officers of class-one status will be selected through competitive screening for the CIPS Level-4 course entry under the project.

Mohammed Shoheler Rahman Chowdhury, Director General of CPTU and Dr. Imran Motin, Executive Director of BIGD of BRAC University, signed the contract on behalf of their respectives sides.
