A training course on Letter of Credit (LC) ended at CPTU on 18 February 2021. The course started on 14 February 2021.

The LC is one of the modes of payments in contracts under international procurement. The CPTU arranged the training course at its conference room.

Resource persons from Bangladesh Bank, Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM), other banks and financial institutions conducted various sessions.

Director General of CPTU Md. Shoheler Rahman Chowdhury,  officers and consultants of CPTU participated in the training course. The training course included topics like Trade Services and LC, Domestic Regulations for LC in Bangladesh, Letter of Credits-Types, Formalities for Issuance of Government LC in Bangladesh with Modes of Payment, Documents in LC Operations, UCP 600, ISBP and URR, LC-Simulation and Open Discussion.
