A student team of School of Logistics and Management (SOLAM) in Bangladesh Navy led by its Training Commander Captain M Moazzem Hossain, psc paid a visit to CPTU on 9 December 2019.

The naval team exchanged views on CPTU functions, public procurement reforms, procurement procedures, e-GP and future plans of CPTU at its Conference Room with Joint Secretary of IME Division Mr. Md. Mahmudul Huq in the chair.

Officers of CPTU were present in the meeting. Director (e-GP) of CPTU Mr. Aziz Taher Khan delivered the welcome address. He also made a presentation on various aspects of public procurement and CPTU functions.

Director (Rules) Mr. Masud Akhter Khan, Public Policy Implementation Adviser Mr. AKM Fazlul Karim, Senior e-GP Adviser Mr Ashfakul Islam and Deputy Director Ms Maushumi Habib replied to queries of the naval team members who have been undergoing a training course at SOLAM, Khulna on supply management.

As part of that they came to CPTU to know about public procurement. The team included an officer from Indian Navy in the course.
