SSK is the social health protection scheme developed by the Health Economics Unit (HEU) of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOHFW). This scheme is a model of Social Health Insurance (SHI)/ Social Health Protection. It has been decided that the pilot scheme would initially be implemented at upazila level. The Scheme Operator (SO) of the SSK will be an implementing agency to manage the SSK piloting. HEU signed the contract with Green Delta Insurance Company Limited as SO on 25/11/2020 for the period of 21 months for managing field level implementation of the Shasthyo Surokhsha Karmasuci (SSK) Pilot Project at Delduar, Nagorpur, Basail and Mirzapur upazila under Tangail district. |
