The objective of the consultancy services are to manage and oversee tasks for social mobilization, participatory scheme cycle management (PSM) and participatory afforestation in relation to the successful implementation of CEIP-1. Specially, consulting services was sought for a) Social mobilization including setting up WMOs for introduction of IWRM practices through preparation and implementation of Social Action Plan (SAP) through engagement of local communities and community groups for PSM and participatory O&M of schemes, b) Implementation of afforestation program specially in the fore-shore areas with ecologically appropriate species by adopting social afforestation approach, and c) Implementation of Integrated Pest Management ( IPM) practices for Polder No.40/2 and Polder No.41/1 in Borguna District. |
