INFORMATION FOR TENDERER

| Eligibility of Tenderer : |
: |
1.General Experience: The Tenderer shall have a minimum of Five (05) years of overall experience in the role of contractor, subcontractor, or management contractor starting 1st January 2018.
2. Specific experience
(a) Participation as contractor, joint venture member, management contractor, or subcontractor, in (i) at least one (1) contract within the last ten (10) years, of value of BDT 2,160 million or USD 18 million; or
(ii) at least two (2) contracts within the last ten (10) years, each with a value of BDT 1,200 million or USD 10 million;
that have been successfully and substantially completed and that are similar to the proposed Plant and Installation Services.
The similarity of the contracts shall be based on the following: 33KV or above Substation.
(b) For the above or other contracts executed during the period stipulated in (a) above, a minimum experience in the following key activities:
(i) At least two substations with required capacity mentioned in the schedules; and
(ii) 6.0 km of 33 kV underground cable laying in any one year. Summation of contracts in any one year is applicable.
(c) For the contracts in (a) above and/or any other contracts [substantially completed and under implementation] as prime contractor, joint venture member, or Subcontractor between 1st January 2014 and Application submission deadline, experience in managing ES risks and impacts in the following aspects: Preparation of environmental and social management plan and its implementation.
3. Financial Criteria
(a) The required average annual turnover shall be greater than BDT 4,300 million or USD 36 million calculated as total certified payments received for contracts in progress or completed, within the last five (5) years.
(b) The minimum amount of liquid assets or working capital or credit facilities of the Tenderer shall be
(i) the following cash-flow requirement:
BDT 540 million or USD 4.5 million and
(ii) the overall cash flow requirements for this contract and its current commitments. |
