A complete set of the Initial Selection documents in English may be purchased by interested Applicants on the submission of a written application letter, which may be sent through email from the Applicant’s official e-mail address to the Employer’s email address specified below, along with a copy of documentary evidence confirming electronic wire transfer or cash deposit payment of a non-refundable fee of BDT 15,000.00 (Bangladesh Taka Fifteen Thousand) or USD 150.00 (United States Dollars One Hundred and Fifty) (the Bank Transaction Reference Number should be explicitly mentioned). The method of payment will be electronic wire transfer or cash deposit to the Employer’s bank account specified below. As stated in the Initial Selection Document (ISD). In addition, a Corrigendum Notice is also issued (Ref.: Memo No.: 46.113.633.00.00.012.2020-21/134; dated: 31 / 03 / 2021 according to which the Initial Selection Document (ISD) and the corresponding Specific Procurement Notice (SPN) for Design and Build (DB) Contract for Reconstruction of Eastern Trunk Main (Package No. WD2) issued dated: 22 February, 2021 (Ref.: ISD No.: 03/ICB/DSIP) has the following amendments:
(a) Section II – Initial Selection Data Sheet (ISDS) - ITA 17.1
The text shall be changed as follows:
The deadline for Application submission will be on or before 26 April 2021 by 1400 hours Bangladesh Standard Time (GMT + 6 hours) instead of 12 April, 2021.
(b) Section II – Initial Selection Data Sheet (ISDS) - ITA 19.1
The text shall be changed as follows:
The opening of the Applications shall be at 1500 hours, Bangladesh Standard Time (GMT+6) on the last date of receiving the Applications and at the address as mentioned under ITA 17.1 of the ISD.
(c) Section III – Initial Selection Criteria and Requirements - Table – 1 Criteria - 3.1 Financial Capabilities
The text shall be changed as follows:
(iii) The audited balance sheets or, if not required by the laws of the Applicants own country, other financial statements acceptable to the Employer, for the last five years i.e. 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 shall be submitted and must demonstrate the current soundness of the Applicant’s financial position and indicate its prospective long-term profitability.
(d) Section III – Initial Selection Criteria and Requirements - Table – 1 Criteria - 3.2 Average Annual Turnover
The text shall be changed as follows:
Minimum average annual construction turnover of 45 (Forty-five) million USD calculated as total certified payments received for contracts in progress and/or completed within the last five (5) years (i.e. 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019) starting 1st January 2015, divided by five (5).
(e) Section IV – Application Forms - Form FIN-3.2 Average Annual Construction Turnover
The years mentioned in the Table: Annual Construction Turnover Data as 2020, 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016 shall be replaced as 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015 respectively.
All other information of the ISD and the SPN shall remain unchanged. |
