INFORMATION FOR TENDERER

| Eligibility of Tenderer : |

For one lot (1, 2 & 3):
• Overall 5 (Five) years general experience as prime shipbuilder for Construction of Ferry / Passenger vessel / Oil Tanker / Cargo vessel or similar nature job.
• The minimum specific experience for construction and delivery of Passenger vessel / Ferry / Any class vessel of minimum size-40mX12 mX2.40m, at least 1 (One) contract successfully completed in govt. / Semi govt. / autonomous body with a value of at least Tk. 20 (Twenty) crore or equivalent foreign currency (USD / EURO / GBP / JPY) within last 10 (Ten) years as a Prime Shipbuilder for one lot.
• Documents have to be submitted for proof. Attested copy of experience certificate have to be submitted by a 1st class gazetted officer.
• The required average annual turnover shall be greater than Tk 20 (Twenty) crore or equivalent foreign currency (USD / EURO / GBP / JPY) over the last 3 (Three) years or best 3 (Three) years in the last 10 (Ten) years for one lot.
• The minimum amount of liquid assets or working capital or credit facilities of the Tenderer shall be Tk. 6 (Six) Crore or equivalent foreign currency (USD / EURO / GBP / JPY) for one lot.
• Original Bank solvency certificate must be submitted.
• The minimum tender capacity shall be 22 (Twenty two) Crore or equivalent foreign currency (USD / EURO / GBP / JPY) for one lot. Qualification requirement shall be mentioned separately for each lot in the package as per STD (PW7A) Clause no ITT 15.1(d).
• Minimum Docking and Undocking capacity 800 (Eight thousand) tons for any lot.
• Valid and up-to-date trade license.
• Latest Income Tax certificate.
• TIN number with certificate.
• JVCA agreement (If applicable). Must be registered in stamp under respective authority.
• Letter of Commitment for Bank’s Undertaking for Line of Credit (Form PPR).
• Latest ISO certificates.
• NOC from Department of Shipping for local bidder and equivalent govt. organization for foreign bidders.
• Foreshore certificate from respective authority.
• Environmental certificate from respective authority.
• Slipway Certificate from BUET for local shipyard or equivalent organization for foreign bidders.
• Builder must have 2 (Two) graduate Naval Architect have minimum 15 years professional experience, 1 (one) graduate Mechanical engineer have minimum 10 years professional experience, 1 (one) graduate Electrical engineer have minimum 10 years professional experience, 2 (Two) fresh graduate Naval Architect with regular pay roll in the field of shipbuilding.
• Bidder must have sufficient shipbuilding equipments: Shipbuilding hall, Fabrication yard, Cranes, St-by Generator, Fork lift, CNC machine, Plate bending machine of (t=16mm) etc of required capacity. |

For each Lot :
a) Construction & Delivery of Utility Type ferry under international Classification Society (Member of IACS) with Hull and Machinery Class of size [LOA= 40.00 meter, B(ext)= 17.00 meter, B(car deck) =10.50 meter, D (mld) = 3.00 meter and Draught (Max.)=1.30 meter at amidships], Trial speed- 12.50 knots & Service speed-12.00 Knots.
b) Outboard Main engine Power- Around 700 BHPX2 or suitable to attain 12.50 knots trial speed and 12.00 knots service speed @ 1800 RPM (Max.), continuous rated output. It should be deck mounted out board engine. Propulsion with Deck mounted (Azimuth Hydraulic Thruster), Z-Propulsion system, Country of Origin and Manufacture of M/E and Machineries : USA / EU Countries / UK / Japan / Canada / Australia. Less fuel consumption engine have to be provided to attain required speed shall be preferred.
c) Keel laying of the vessel as per approved design by classification society, Lofting work, Hull & Superstructure fabrication work, Engines & Machineries Installation, Accommodation work, Outfitting work, Painting work, Finishing work, Class Supervision, Survey & Registration, Preliminary test & trial, Inclining experiment and final stability Booklet, Final test & trial, Delivery the vessel at any place of Bangladesh as per owners choice.
