INFORMATION FOR TENDERER

| Eligibility of Tenderer : |
: |
a) The minimum number of years of general experience of the Tenderer in the construction works as Prime Contractor or Subcontractor or Management Contractor shall be 15 (Fifteen) years.
b) The minimum specific experience as a Prime Contractor or Subcontractor or Management Contractor in construction works of at least 2 (Two) contracts of Passenger Terminal Building in International Airport successfully completed within the last 10 (Ten) years, each with a value of at least Tk.600.00 (Six Hundred) Crore.
Or,
The minimum specific experience as a Prime Contractor or Subcontractor or Management Contractor in construction works of at least 1 (One) contract of Passenger Terminal Building in International Airport successfully completed within the last 10 (Ten) years, with a value of at least Tk.1200.00 (One thousand two Hundred) Crore.
c) The required average annual construction turn over shall be greater than Tk.900.00 (Nine hundred) crore over the last 7 (Seven) years.
d) The minimum amount of liquid assets i.e. working capital or credit line(s) of the Tenderers shall be Tk.300.00 (Three hundred) crore.
e) The minimum Tender capacity shall be Tk.1700.00 (One Thousand seven hundred) crore.
f) Joint Venture is allowed to participate in the Tender. However, the No. of Partners in JV shall not be more than 2 (Two).

The work comprises of Construction of a modern International Passenger Terminal building having RCC-steel composite structure, decorative works including all sorts of finishing works, installation of passenger boarding bridges, arrival and departure baggage handling systems, lifts and escalators, HVAC system in/c. all other electro-mechanical equipments, access control system and scanning machines, communication equipment, supply of lounge furniture, construction of control tower building, cargo terminal building, cargo annex building, fire-fighting station, utility station, internal roads and car parks etc. In addition, the work includes construction of flexible pavement for Taxiway with Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) and rigid pavement for Apron with Pavement Quality Concrete (PQC) and Lean Mix Concrete (LMC) over stabilized base course, sub base course and improved subgrade works, construction of pipe line for fuel hydrant system etc. |
