INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT

| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
Preparation of intersection plan considering all type of intersections and using traffic data, intersection capacity analysis, multi model analysis, and other criterion.
• Study, analyze and review of existing format to review design report for geometry design and make necessary modification/preparation of standard format.
Acquisition of data for geometric design of intersection/road through communicating with RHD field offices and conducting visit, survey etc if required.
Preparation of Standard format and checklist for design report.
Provide support in preparing comments and observations for vetting of design reports and related technical reports and any other design related service for the client.
• Review and develop mechanism for assessing geometric design of highways including intersections with traffic simulation.
• To ensure safety and security of all computerized data, information, files and documents. |
| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |
: |
Minimum B.Sc. in Civil/Transportation Engineering.
• 10 (Ten) years general experience.
• At least 05 (Five) years' experience in relevant field of Highways including Intersection design, Highway Geometric design, Design report writing, Highway Design vetting, Geometric design report preparation, Road Safety Audit, Review of Geometric Design/Road Safety review. Minimum age 35 years
Expertise on different design software e.g. SIDRA Intersection, Vissim, Autodesk Civil 3D, and Vehicle Tracking and so on.
• Proficiency in speaking and writing in English & Bengali languages.
• Sound knowledge on various geometric design standard available internationally.

Submission of EOI should be done in closed format bearing the Name and Address, EOI Name & Date and be addressed to the EOI issuing authority in 02(two) copies; 01(One) marked as “ORGINAL" and other as "COPY" in separate envelopes in the form of book binding. Both the "ORGINAL" and "COPY" shall have to be covered within a single envelope. The applicant shall have to mention the page number serially on every page of submitted EOI document.
