INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT

Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
Bangladesh, highly vulnerable to climate change, sees Women and Children disproportionately affected due to socio-economic disparities and gender roles. Natural disasters like floods, cyclones, and droughts often lead to displacement, causing significant mental health challenges, including anxiety and stress from loss of homes, livelihoods, and social networks. Women, especially caregivers, face heightened burdens during such crises. Climate change can also increase gender-based violence, particularly when social structures are disrupted. This study will examine how environmental stressors worsen mental health challenges for Women and Children. |
