INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT

| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
The services of the Institutional Capacity Development and Training Co-Ordinator as Individual Consultant, among others will include, but not limited to, the following:
• Coordinates administrative functions necessary to deliver and document training and research programs.
• Provide information on available training and research opportunities to employees of the organization and recommend new training methods and research opportunities.
• Review and develop organization-wide (BWBD) training module and research needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed.
• Conduct stakeholder consultation for preparing training and research plans and schedules, designing and developing training programs.
• Helps to Choose appropriate training methods per training (virtual, on the job training, professional development classes etc.)
• Conduct organization-wide training and recommend scope for improvements.
• Assess instructional effectiveness and determine the impact of training on employee skills.
• Gather feedback from trainers and trainees after each training session and notify to PD.
• Manage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by PD. |
| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |
: |
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Masters of Science or related fields. Preference will be given to higher degree.
Work Experience:
• 15 years of working experience of which 10 years should substantially be related to Institutional Capacity Development and Training related services.
• Work experience with Government/Development Partner funded projects will be an added advantage.
• Being able to work with multiple tasks of different background and be a good team member, strong interpersonal and should have good communication skills, commitment to team work and to work across disciplines.

Contract Duration: The duration of the service is 360 (Three Hundred Sixty) working days over a period of 24 (Twenty-Four) months intermittently (Average 15 (Fifteen) working days per month) from the date of signing the contract. Possibility of extension of the service is subjected to DPP provision and satisfactory performance.
