| Brief Description of Assignment |

Expression of interest (EOI) is invited for appointment of Consulting Firm for Detailed Feasibility Study (DFS), Initial Environmental Examination (IEE), Environmental and Social Impact Assessment Study (ESIA) of Patuakhali 100 MW Solar PV Power Plant Project including Route Survey (RS), Land Acquisition Plan (LAP) and Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) of Power Evacuation Transmission Line to the nearest Grid Substation of the Project located at Kalapara, Patuakhali, Bangladesh.
The Assignment will include the following:
1. Detailed Feasibility Study (DFS)
2. IEEE and ESIA Study
3. Route Survey (RS), Land Acquisition Plan (LAP) and Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) of 132 KV Transmission Line to be used for evacuation of Power of the Plant. |

Applicant must have experience of Detailed Feasibility Study, Initial Environmental Examination, Environmental and Social Impact Assessment Study (ESIA) at least one 50 MW Solar PV Power Plant Project and Route Survey (RS), Land Acquisition Plan (LAP) and Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) for Transmission Line of at least 8 km within last 10 years. |

The intending consulting firms may collect the “Detailed Terms of Reference” (ToR) as well as “EOI Document” from RPCL office by submitting an application to the Executive Director (Engineering), Rural Power Company Limited, Asian Tower, Level: 8, Plot: 52, Road: 21, Nikunja-2, Khilkhet, Dhaka-1229, Bangladesh during office hours or by downloading from RPCL’s website: www.rpcl.gov.bd.
The EOIs would be reviewed on the basis of the following:
• Age of Firm
• Experience of the Firm in Similar Services
• Availability of Key professionals
• Availability of Resources
• Managerial Strength and Financial Capacity
• Experience of the firm in other works
Any application submitted later than the specified time shall not be entertained. A short list of Applicants will be made by evaluating the received applications in accordance with PPR-2008. RFP will be issued to the short listed firms only.
EOI received through fax, email or other electronic media will not be entertained. |
