INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT

| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
The People’s Republic of Bangladesh has received a Credit from the International Development Association (IDA) – a member of the World Bank Group – for financing the cost of the Enhancing Digital Government and Economy (EDGE) Project, being implemented by the Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC). BCC intends to apply part of the IDA Credit for procuring the services for consulting services under the project. |
| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

Project Manager /Specialist - Digital Economy Skill Development- A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, 10 years of working experience, 5 years of working experience in managing skill development training program, Experience in creating contents & curriculum designing will be considered as an added advantage, Professional certification in any digital skills will be considered as an added advantage, Working experience in forming and managing partnership with academia, large corporation, trade association, IT professionals and other digital skills related stakeholders, Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a multidisciplinary team; Technical Expert 4-IT Industry Skills Development-A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, 05 (Five) years working experience, Experience in digital skills training will be preferred, Working experience in project management, Strong communication skills in presenting, discussing, and resolving complex issues, Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
The duration of the assignment will be 18 (eighteen) person-months for each position. However, the duration of the assignment may be increased or reduced according to project needs and budget. |

The consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in World Bank’s Procurement Regulation for IPF Borrowers (July 2016, Revised November 2017, August 2018, November 2020 and September 2023). Interested applicants may obtain the Terms of Reference (TOR) from the office of the EDGE Project during office hours or download from the website www.bcc.gov.bd.
Expressions of Interest (EOI) must be submitted in written form in the address below (in person or by mail or by e-mail) by March 11, 2024 within 2.00 PM and be clearly marked “Expression of Interest for position of …………………..”. In Addition, the applicants are requested to submit a workable soft copy of the CV to facilitate the evaluation of received EOI.
