| Brief Description of Assignment |

The Government of Bangladesh has received financing from the ADB to promote efficient and safe use of gas through the installation of 6.5 lac Smart Prepaid Gas Meters (SPGMs) for domestic customers in the Metro Dhaka Marketing (South) and Regional Marketing (Narayanganj) of Titas Franchise Area (TFA). The detailed description of Assignments is mentioned in the Terms of Reference (ToR).

The International consulting firm/JV that submit(s) tender shall be evaluated using, but not limited to the following minimum criteria which the consulting firm/JV must provide documentary proof of compliance:
a) Qualification Requirements mentioned in the ToR.
b) Additional Documents: Covering letter, Letter of Association/JVCA (if any), Company profile with registration and age of firm, Bank solvency certificate, Availability of appropriate skilled staff’s list of relevant professional, their qualification and experience, Audit report for the last 3 (three) years.
Interested consulting firm/JVs will be required to submit 3 (Three) signed copies of EoI– 1 (One) Original and 2 (Two) copies in closed envelope marked with “EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EoI) FOR SELECTION OF INTERNATIONAL PROJECT MANAGEMENT CONSULTING FIRM FOR THE INSTALLATION OF SMART PREPAID GAS METERS IN THE SOUTHERN PART OF TITAS FRANCHISE AREA” along with soft copy in CD-ROM on all working days (Sunday to Thursday) within office time at the place of receiving EoI before the EoI closing date & time. Any application submitted later than the specific date and time or submitted through e-mail/fax will not be entertained. In addition, EoI can also be submitted through ADB’s Consultant Management System (CMS) at www.cms.adb.org.
A Shortlist of firms/JVs will be prepared upon evaluation of EoIs based on the criteria of (a) Management Competence, (b) Technical Competence, and (c) Geographic Competence following the provisions of the Procurement Regulations for ADB Borrowers and PPR-2008. The Request for Proposal (RFP) Documents will be issued in their favor. |
