| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
BAPEX desires to carry out acquisition, processing & interpretation 4500 Ground LKM (30 to 60 Fold) of 2D Seismic data by outsourcing using State-of the-art equipment in its Exploration Block 7 & 9 (a part of Eastern and southern Folded Belt, Bengal Basin (Locations: Gazipur, Kishoreganj, Munshiganj, Narayanganj, Narsingdi, Shariatpur, Brahmanbaria, Chadpur, Cumilla, Lakshmipur, Bagerhat, Barishal, Bhola, Barguna, Jhalokati, Patuakhali & Piroipur District), constituting a total area of 17,000 SQKM (9000 SQKM in Block 7, 8000 SQKM in Block-9). The Seismic Service Provider must be internationally reputed Geophysical Seismic Service Provider in oil and gas sector, specialized in high resolution seismic imaging to establish subsurface geological model for hydrocarbon exploration. The service provider must have dedicated Design/Acquisition/Processing/Interpretation/Resource/ Reserve estimation experts. The brief job description includes Parameter Setting, Field Design, Quality Control, Data acquisition, Data Processing, Data Interpretation & Resource/Reserve estimation by means of latest Instrument, Software & Hardware used by leading International Seismic Service Provider. The assignment should be completed within December 2026 (Tentative). |

The International Seismic Service Provider should have at least 10 years of experience having at least 10,000 LKM 2D seismic data acquisition, processing, interpretation & resource evaluation experience per year accomplished by at least 3 different projects in the last 7 years, The 10,000 LKM per year must include all the aspects of acquisition, processing & interpretation. For example, if a seismic service provider has completed 5000 LKM acquisition, 2000 LKM processing & 3000 LKM comprehensive interpretation in a year will be accepted. On the other hand, if a seismic service provider has completed 8000 LKM acquisition, 2000 LKM processing will not be accepted, as the seismic service provider is lacking the experience in seismic data interpretation. The individual aspects (acquisition, processing, and interpretation) must be at least 2000 LKM per year. |

(a) Interested Seismic Service providers are invited to provide following information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services: (i) Registration of firm (ii) Background of the firm (iii) General and overall 10 years experience of the firm (iv) Summery of similar projects undertaken (v) Audited financial reports of the firm for the last 5 years. (vi) Nature, size, location of contracts in hands (vii) Number of permanent professional employees with key qualifications (viii) Administrative strength & financial capacity (minimum annual turnover 10.00 million USD) (ix) Types of major equipments, software, hardware used (x) In case of joint venture, copy of joint venture agreement.
(b) Upon receipt of EOI’s, the interested companies that are deemed best suited to perform the operation will be short-listed. Request for Proposal (RFP) document will be sent to the short-listed companies.
(c) EOI notice will be available at petrobangla.org.bd; cptu.gov.bd, bapex.com.bd
(d) EOI will be conducted as per PPR, 2008 |
