INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT

| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
The Terms of Reference (TOR) with key responsibilities include the following:
ICT and Training Project Advisor:
• Coordinate and assist to implement key activities of the project
• Supervise and support for implementation of the activities of the project.
• Assist BANBEIS in correspondence with the donor agency (Korea Exim Bank)
• Plan and Prepare Project Document of UITRCE next phases project.
• Plan and Prepare Project Document of other projects of BANBEIS
• Supervision of ICT equipment Testing and Installation activities
• Supervision and monitoring of ICT training of teachers
• Development of courseware, course plan, design, and contents of ICT training programs.
• Prepare conceptual plan of ICT training management at the UITRCEs and BKITCE.
• Assist BANBEIS to prepare reports of the UITRCE project.
• Carry out other activities as may be assigned by BANBEIS
Project Management Expert:
• Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project implementation plans, outlining tasks, timelines, resources, and milestones. Monitor progress against the schedule and implement adjustments as needed.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage the project budget. Monitor and control project expenses to ensure adherence to budget constraints.
• Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain effective communication channels within the international, government and other stakeholders.
• Problem solving: Address and resolve issues and challenges that arise during the implementation of the project. Identify and assess risks and formulative effective risk mitigation strategies. Resolve conflicts and ensure transparent communication.
• Closure and Evaluation: Ensure the successful completion of the project within defined parameters. Conduct a comprehensive project review to assess success, challenges, and areas for improvement. Document lessons learned for future projects.
• Monitor UITRCE building construction, installation of ICT equipment in the UITRCEs
• Monitor ICT training of teachers in UITRCEs and prepare reports thereof.
• Carry out other activities as may be assigned by BANBEIS |
| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |
: |
ICT and Training Project Advisor:
• Masters or Higher Degree in ICT/Computer Science/Statistics/ Mathematics or closely related subject
• Minimum 20 years experience in IT field in Govt./Semi-Govt./ Autonomous organization.
• Extensive experience in preparation of ICT training manual, training schedule and management of training in field level and HQ.
• At least 3 years experience in project management
• Experience in similar project will have extra weightage (20%).
• Age not below 50 years
Project Management Expert:
• Masters or Higher Degree in any discipline
• Minimum 20 years experience in the Govt./ Semi-Govt. /Autonomous organization.
• 5 years Experience in Project implementation, management and monitoring.
• Experience in similar project will have extra weightage (20%)
• Age not below 50 years. |

BANBEIS now invites eligible Applicants to their interest in providing the local consultancy services. The Applicants are requested to collect Standard Request for Application from the project office (BANBEIS) and submit their proposal including (a) Application Submission Form (Form 3A), (b) CV (Curriculum Vitae) of the Applicant (Form 3B), (c) Remuneration and Reimbursable (Form 3C). The duration of the assignment for consulting service shall be as per requirements of the project. |
