| Brief Description of Assignment |

Power Grid Company of Bangladesh Limited (PGCB) intends to engage an INGO/Consulting firm by PGCB’s own fund to implement and update the Resettlement Plan & ESIA for the Project. The Terms of Reference (ToR) is prepared for the INGO/Consulting firm to be engaged in implementing the RP. The ToR includes the approach and methodology of activities to be performed by the INGO/Consulting firm. The ToR also includes a guideline to plan, implement and evaluate the activities within the Resettlement Plan along with the technical resources to be required for this purpose. |
| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |
: |
(i) The INGO/Consulting firm to be selected must have proven experience in following tasks of Resettlement Planning and implementation:
(ii) The INGO/Consulting firm shall have the demonstrated capacity to mobilize the required trained and experienced field staff.
(iii) The INGO/Consulting firm shall have the experience in implementation of large Resettlement Plan like the present Project.
(iv) The INGO/Consulting firm must have at least ten years of working experience in the implementation of resettlement and land acquisition under externally funded development program.
(v) The INGO/Consulting firm must be registered under the Social Welfare Department or under NGO Affairs Bureau or Joint Stock Company.
(vi) The INGO/Consulting firm must present certificate/s from the concerned Government department/agency to verify its satisfactory performance in resettlement social/census surveys, planning and implementation of Resettlement Plan, monitoring and evaluation through effective management information systems and preparation of analytical reports that meet the standards of co-financiers.
(vii) The INGO/Consulting firm shall have to present audit report for the past three years.
