INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT

| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
The purpose of this service is to provide appropriate operation, management and maintenance of rest areas to ensure provision of improved service to freight vehicle, drivers/operators to provide facilities for them to take rest during their journey to avoid probable accidents due to fatigue. |
| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

1. The interested applicant must have experience of Supply, Installation, Commissioning, Operation and Maintenance of ‘Bridge’/‘Flyover’/ ‘Highway’ /‘Expressway’/ ‘Tunnel’/ ‘Other relevant public event/ programmes’. (Viz, event management like Trade fair, national event or same nature activities).
2. Interested firm(s) must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the service (brochures, registrations. availability of appropriate skills among staff etc.) The EOI's will be reviewed on the basis of the following to prepare the short list (a) Registration of the firm(s) (b) Legal establishment of the firm(s), TIN, VAT registration, Trade License etc. (c) General & overall experiences of the firm(s) (d) Experience of the Firm(s) in similar assignment completed during last 8 (Eight) years (limited to 03 pages) (e) Average annual turnover of the firm(s) during the last 05 (five) years (f) summary of permanent professional employees with key qualifications, (including academic qualification and experience adequacy to perform the assignment).
3. a) In case of Joint Venture, the JV shall have to comply with the experience mentioned in "Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required" collectively.
b) In case of JV the authorized representative should be from lead partner. |

Interested Consultant firm will be required to submit the EOI (One marked as "ORIGINAL" and Two other as "COPY' in separate envelope Both the “ORIGINAL” and “COPY” shall have to covered within a single envelope.) to the address below before the EOI closing date and time. EOI’s will be opened in presence of the representatives of the participating firms, if any, on 11 October 2022 at 12.00 PM BST. In case of any unavoidable circumstances such as strike, civil commotion Govt. declared holiday etc. EOI's will be received and opened on the following day. Upon receipt of the interested firms those are deemed best suited to perform the assignment will be short listed. There after request for proposal (RFP) document will be issued to the short-listed firms. The consulting firm will be selected based on Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) method in accordance with the procedures set out in the PPA 2006. PPR 2008 of GOB and its subsequent amendments. |
