INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT

| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
a. Working under the direct supervision of the Project Director, NSDS in revision and update of NSDS following the outline to be developed by the International Consultant.
b. Working with the PD, NSDS and other national and international consultants to set up mechanisms to be needed for updating NSDS following the guidelines of PARIS21, and to organize seminar, workshops, stakeholders meetings within the NSS, BBS, other Producers and Users to brainstorm as well as present the updated NSDS.
c. Extensively review the existing NSDS document, finding out the gaps in implementation and update the NSDS
d. Perform any other tasks as assigned by the PD, and by the International Individual Consultant for NSDS, to be required for successful completion of the revision and update of NSDS.
e. Consult widely working with other partners involved in supporting the NSDS review and update, including the PARIS21
f. Assist the PD for any kind of other task related to NSDS Implementation Support Project.

| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |
: |
• Advanced university degree in Statistics / Economics/ Demography or relevant discipline.
• Minimum 04 years of working experience in statistical organization/ research organization/ university/ related organization in a senior position.
• Sufficient working experience in statistical planning/management/re-organization activities.
• Working experience in PARIS21/ in preparing or updating NSDS in any country of the world will be given preference.
• Work experience in multiple countries for such kind of assignment will be given preference;
• Must have excellent knowledge in Information Technology (IT).
• Must have strong communication skill. |
