| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
The Project is looking for qualified Consulting Firm for timely and effective arrangement of overseas Training and study tour programme of Batch:1 in China and Batch:2 in India to gather knowledge on modern minor irrigation technology and disseminate those among the farmers, technical personnel and others.
The Consulting Firm will be responsible for management of the overseas training and study tours which should be arranged consisting personnel from BADC officials/personnel related to preparation & implementation of this project, representative from MoA, representative from Planning Commission and representative from IMED/ERD. Study tours in abroad should be arranged through reputed training Organizations/Universities, preferably through Training Institution responsible for training of the Government officers. The study tour will include (i) Classroom discussion by eminent Faculties, University Teachers and Senior Government Officials on the theme/topics to be finalized by the Project authority (ii) Visit to relevant Government offices for having experience and open discussion (iii) Other related activities including historical places of the visiting country. iv) Various irrigation project of the visiting country.

| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

a) The firm must have 03 (three) years of experience in commendable communication (Proof of contract agreement must be submitted) with different agricultural research institute/ university, leading agricultural corporations and government bodies of visiting countries
b) Evidence of successful implementation of overseas training programme in one year worth at least Tk. 40,00,000/- or equivalent US Dollars for Government and non-government organizations within the last 5 years.
c) Evidence of office (ownership document/rental deed) in Bangladesh.
d) Reasonably acceptable organizational profile having adequate permanent manpower and other office equipment and logistic support (Detailed profile of permanent manpower needs to be submitted separately).
e) Overseas training partnership/Regional/Global Networking with other International and Regional training organizations/Institutions. The intending firms must show written evidence of partnership in the form of Agreement/MOU or any other form of mutual collaboration signed with the organizations engaged in training of Civil/Public officials. |
