Data Operation and Processing Consultant
Minimum BSc Engineering in CSE/Civil Engineering or equivalent from any recognized university. Membership of a recognized Professional Institution.
Professional Experience
Minimum 10 (Ten) years’ experience in GIS and Other Database Operation activities.
Experience in transport sector will get preference.
Suitability
1. Should have knowledge in Visual Fox-pro or Microsoft Access or SQL or equivalent database software;
2. Should have comprehensive knowledge in HDM-4 software calibration and running.
3. Knowledge in Project Analysis and Program Analysis of HDM-4.
4. A firm understanding of GIS related Geo Databases, Topology, Coordinate systems, data conversion, data management.
5. Should have laptop computer to perform daily activities.
Should be able to use interactive GIS and link the information of the other database with GIS software;
Data Acquisition Consultant
Educational Qualification

Roads and Highways Department (RHD) under the Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges has been allocated public funds from the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh (GoB) for carrying out Road Condition Assessment of RHD Road Network by engaging Individual Consultant (National) for 24 (Twenty Four) Months. The Superintending Engineer (RHD), HDM Circle (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Client’) now invites Request for Application (RFA) from eligible applicants for the positions described below:

Consultants will be selected using the Selection of Individual Consultant (SIC) Method in accordance with the Public Procurement Rules 2008. It is expected that the services will be commenced from April 2022 and shall be completed on April 2024 (24 Months).
Interested Consultants are required to submit their application in accordance with the Standard Application Form (PS4) which may be obtained from the office of the undersigned during normal office hours or from the notice board of RHD website (rhd.portal.gov.bd). The application shall be delivered in sealed envelope by 12:00 pm on 14 March 2022 to the Superintending Engineer (RHD), Room No- 721, Part-B, HDM Circle, Sarak Bhaban, Tejgaon, Dhaka-1208 and be clearly marked the name of the Consultant Category applied on the envelope. All applications will be open at 2.30 pm on the same date.
Applicants who are already in employment shall have to send their application through proper channel, otherwise their applications will not be considered.
The Procuring Entity reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the RFA without assigning any reason whatsoever.
