| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
(a) Survey, Investigation and Studies.
(b) Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)
(c) Preparation of Land Acquisition (LA) Plan, Utility Relocation Plan and Resettlement Action Plan.
(d) Design of the Bridge, River Bank Protection Work, Connecting Roads, Axle Load Control Station, Toll Plaza and other necessary structures.
(e) Preparation of Bid Documents, Assistance in Procurement and Preparation of Contract Documents.
(f) Construction Supervision and Quality Assurance.
(g) Development of Operation and Maintenance (O&M) System and Preparation of Project Completion Report. |
| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |
: |
a. Relevant experience in the field of Design and Construction Supervision for similar type of works. The consulting firm (lead firm in case of JVCA) must have previous experience of rendering consultancy services for the design and construction supervision of Two Lane Multi-span Box Girder Highway Bridge of length not less than 450m (Main Bridge length over the river) having at least one span length not less than 90m over a river within last 10 (ten) years. The associate firm(s) of JVCA must have experience of rendering consultancy services of design and supervision of Box Girder Bridge over a river/flyover on a highway within last 10 (ten) years.
b. Experiences in Engineering investigations, surveys and studies are required for the detailed design of each component of the project.
c. The Consultants are to provide information to demonstrate that they are qualified to perform the Services by submitting their company's brochure, summarizing the firm's organizational details including key personnel, facilities, areas of expertise, managerial strength, financial capacity & yearly turnover of the firm for last 5 (five) years.; description of past experience in Project Data Sheet (PDS); a list of past and present assignments of similar nature & operating conditions; availability of appropriate professional staff showing their qualification and experience etc.; and any other information that may show the applicant's ability to carry out the assignment satisfactorily. The applicant is to confirm in writing their freedom from Conflict of Interest. |
