Academic Qualification
• Bachelor in Navigation (Nautical Science/Studies) from any recognized University/Institution.
• In case of unavailability of candidates with above mentioned qualifications. Diploma in Navigation (Nautical Science/Studies) from any recognized Board or Authority may be considered.
Experience
• At least certificate of competency Fishing Vessel Mate/Equivalent Certificate of Competency (Class 02) from DG Shipping/any recognized authority.
• In case of graduate candidates 15 years of experiences (at least 07 years as Skipper/Mate in fishing vessel).
• In case of candidates having diploma, 20 years of experiences (at least 10 years as Mate/Skipper) in fishing vessel.
• Working in commercial fishing vessel/research vessel will be considered. |

The Department of Fisheries represented by Project Director of Pilot Project on Tuna and Similar Pelagic Fishing in Deep Sea invites eligible applicants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Applicants are invited to provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the said consultancy services. The ToR and scope of services along with Application Forms of the consultants will be available in the “Notice” of the DoF website. (www.fisheries.gov.bd). Applicants may obtain further information and collect the ToR along with Application Forms from the office of the undersigned or through the email of the undersigned during office hours (09:00 am - 05:00 pm) on all working days up to January 10, 2022.
A consultant will be selected following the Selection of Individual Consultants method in accordance with the Public Procurement Rules, 2008. |
