INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT

| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
a) Top Drive Model: 1250AC-681, Serial No.: 770 & 1161, Manufacturer: CANRIG Drilling Technology Ltd, USA
b) Scope of Service:
1) Perform maintenance and repairs on specified Top Drive and report to the field engineer.
2) Perform Fault finding, troubleshooting and diagnose of VFD & PLC System of Top Drive system as required for smooth drilling operation.
3) Shall provide preventive, routine and non-routine maintenance and the repair of PLC, VFD, Industrial Communication, Hydraulic System and related equipment of the Top Drive;
4) Supervise the Electrical System, Mechanical System, Communication System, Hydraulic System and related peripherals of the top drive during drilling; if needed replace devices as per condition and recommendation.
5) The Service Engineer should bring along one laptop with adequate Software, PLC to PC communication cable, Inverter to PC communication cable and other related item as required to repair, maintenance and programming of PLC & VFD System of the CANRIG Top Drives.
6) Check the present stock of spare parts and consumables; prepare a reliable list of spare parts and consumables.
7) During service period the professional will train up the BAPEX engineers.
c) Duration of the service:
1) The duration of service period will be January 2022 to December 2023 (Tentative)
2) As per project demand BAPEX will extend the service time as required. Service provider must agree to provide services in such condition. The additional day rate must be as same as contracted day rate, and final amount to be billed will be based on the actual number of days/time taken to finish the job.
d) Educational Qualifications and Experiences of Top Drive Service Engineer:
1) Minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Engineering.
2) At least 5 years of prior work experience in CANRIG VFD Top Drive servicing and maintenance.
3) Shall be capable of Faults finding, Troubleshooting, Repairing, Servicing and Programming of PLC and VFD system.
4) Demonstrated knowledge and experience in PLC, VFD, Ether Net/IP, Profibus, Modbus, Device Net, Control Net
Network Communication and Hydraulic System.
5) The Professionals should be capable of speaking and writing English well.

a) The participants must have experience on providing Engineering Services. The participants should submit the evidence in experience with his offer.
b) The Service Provider shall have authorization letter from CANRIG Drilling Technology Ltd. USA to prove they are authentic and capable to carry out the assignment.
c) The service provider should provide at least 3 (three) Curriculum Vitae for Top Drive Service Engineers. All must be employees of CANRIG Drilling Technology Ltd., USA and currently working on CANRIG Top Drive.
d) The Service Provider should be committed and prompt to provide Engineering Services in time. They have to coordinate and cooperate with BAPEX for smooth service.

The BAPEX invites this Expression of Interest (EOI) from all eligible service providers to provide Top Drive Engineering Services. The Service Provider must have:
a) Experience in providing Engineering Services in Drilling Field.
b) Authorization letter from “CANRIG Drilling Technology Ltd.”
c) Strong Administrative and Financial capacity to carry out the assignment.
