The main objective of the assignment is to hire a qualified Server Security Expert who will work closely with the PHC 2021 project of BBS and provide necessary and sufficient technical support in security-related issues in Android Applications, Data communication API & Database Server; so that the project can proceed smoothly and efficiently without any troubles. The Consultant will directly report to the Project Director. He will work with the project team under the supervision of Project Director as well.
1) Qualification Criteria: a) Education: The Server Security Specialist must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Science Engineering/Information Technology/Computer and Information Technology/ Telecommunications/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering or any related field from a recognized and reputed University.
b) Experience: (1) At least 10 (ten) years general experience in govt./semi-govt./autonomous organization or any reputed private organization. (2) At least 05 (Five) years of working experience with Server Security/Cyber Security/Software Security. (3) At least 5 (Five) years of working experience with Android Development with Java/ Kotlin. (4) Working experience as Ethical Hacker. Having strong Cyber Security and awareness skills. Also experienced in android app security testing. (5) Familiarity with Unix, Linux and windows operating system. Also having programming skills like Java, PHP etc. (6) Knowledge of vulnerabilities and penetration testing. (7) Advanced knowledge of networking systems & Knowledge of OWSAP listed security advice. Also having technical knowledge of routers, firewalls and server systems. (8) Good troubleshooting skills. Also having good written and verbal communication skills in English. |

Scope of Services: Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
a) Server Security Expert is responsible for ensuring security during the development stages of software systems, networks and data centre.
b) He/ She has to explore software and servers to find any security flaws.
c) He/ She has to search for vulnerabilities and risks in hardware and software. He/She has to manage and monitor any attacks and intrusions.
d) He/She has to recognize the potential threat or attempted breach by closing off the security vulnerability.
e) Security Service Expert will develop new layers of protection and update the security systems.
f) The Server Security Expert will execute projects in Dynamic Application Security Testing. The professionals will take care of projects in security code reviews/Static Application Security Testing of applications.
g) Server Security Expert is responsible for taking care of the built-in security systems to software, hardware, and components
h) Any other task assigned by the project authority.
Remuneration: A contract will be signed for 06 (Six) man months (intermittently) with the selected candidate as per PPA 2006 and PPR 2008. Remuneration will be paid in local currency (BDT). Payments will be made at the end of every month from the commencement with the condition of satisfactory performance report.
Duration of the Contract: Tenure of employment will be initially for 06 (Six) man months (intermittently) or till the end of June, 2024, which one ends earlier. The duration may be extended subject to the approval of the competent authority. |
