| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
A. Objectives and targets of the project (including beneficiaries): General Objective: Development of fish landing, conservation and marketing management through setting up of modern fish landing centers in the hoar area. Development of drywall production and conservation management. Creating employment opportunities for those involved in fishing, processing, packaging and marketing. To help alleviate poverty by creating jobs at an increased rate, especially for women involved in fish picking, processing and packaging.
B. Specific Objective: (i) To establish modern and healthy fish landing center in Derai Upazila of Sunamganj district. (ii) Fisheries marketing of the country in accordance with HACCP (Hazard Analytics Critical Control Point) standards. (iii) Reduce post harvest loss by 40% of fish caught in the project area.
C. To carry out the Project Successfully, Consultancy Service is in need or required to include but not limited to:
a) Prepare sub-soil investigation.
b) Prepare detail survey map.
c) Prepare site analysis report.
d) Prepare site layout plan.
e) Prepare architectural design and drawings.
f) Prepare structural design and drawings.
g) Prepare sanitary & plumbing, electrical and mechanical design and drawings.
h) Prepare estimated cost including schedule of items and bill of quantities.
i) Prepare tender documents.
j) Full time construction & installation supervision. |
| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

The EOI will be evaluated on the basis of the following (1. Background of the firm, 2. Qualification and Experiences, 3. Experience & 4. Manpower) to prepare a shortlist and interested consulting firms must provide the following information:
1) Background of the firm with brochure;
2) Qualification and Experiences: The firm must be a well established engineering firm or a legally formed consortium with a number of proven track records in handling similar project/assignments to be supported with a time the firm must be have:
a) Working experts of the relevant with degrees in proper fields as well as sufficient Experiences in performing similar assignments;
b) sufficient modern equipment;
c) Proper logistic support etc.
3) Experience: The firm must have 10 (ten) years of proven experience in performing required assignment.
4) Manpower: Firm must have technically qualified, skilled and well experienced experts for all fields pertaining to this assignment along with support staff. The preferred experts are given bellow:
a) Team Leader: Post Graduate/Graduate in Architect/Civil Engineer with MBA or PMP or
Post Graduate in Civil/Architecture.
b). Sr. Architect: Graduate in Architect ;
c) Jr. Architect: Graduate in Architect ;
d) Sr. Structural Engineer: Graduate in Civil Engineer;
e) Jr. Structural Engineer: Graduate in Civil Engineer;.
f) Sr. Electrical Engineer: Graduate in Electrical Engineer;
g) Sr. Mechanical Engineer: Graduate in Mechanical Engineer;
h) Quantity/Cost Engineer: Graduate in Civil Engineer ;
i) Construction Engineer: Graduate in Civil Engineer;.
j) Site Engineer: Diploma in Civil, Electrical & mechanical Engineer; |

Submission of EOI should be done in closed envelope bearing the Name & Address of Firm(s), EOI Name & Date and be addressed to the EOI issuing authority in 06 copies; 01 marked as ORIGINAL and others as COPY in separate envelopes in the form of book-binding. Both the ORIGINAL and COPY shall have to be covered within a single envelope. The applicant shall have to mention the page number serially in every page of submitted EOI document. |
