INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT

| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
>>Key Responsibilities (Network Specialist):
• Design and set up of network.
• Maintain a thorough understanding and analysis of the basics behind the Internet and its workings (DNS, Security, IP Routing, HTTP, VPN, Email Routing, SPAM, etc.).
• Configure and setup Switch, Router, Firewalls, VPN Concentrators and Security appliances to access vital applications in accordance to DPP.
• Design, setup, configuration and management of cyber security related appliances and applications.
• If required, conduct relevant training sessions.
• Any other duties/responsibilities which may be assigned by the higher authority.
>>Key Responsibilities (Junior Software Architect):
• Preparation of draft technical specification and Terms of Reference (ToR) of customized software applications/ modules / mobile applications / websites to be developed within the scope of the project as per DPP.
• Ensure the usage of familiar software development tools and methodologies to create desired functions, system integration and user interface of the software applications.
• Define all aspects of software development from the choice appropriate technology or the coding standards to the workflow.
• Provide technical guidance and training (if necessary) to the software development team.
• Any other duties/responsibilities which may be assigned by the higher authority.

| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

>> Network Specialist:
Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s Degree in IT/ICE/CS/ CSE/CST/EEE/ETE/ECE or relevant field from any UGC approved university. Higher degrees in the relevant discipline or experience in a foreign institution will be given preference.
Work Experience: At least 10 (Ten) years of working experience in the relevant field, of which at least 5 (Five) years as a Network Specialist. Previous experience of work in similar kind of government project will be given preference.
Knowledge/Certification: Knowledge of Router/firewall configuration and maintenance, Network Infrastructure and topologies, hands-on experience working experience on Windows and Linux environment, VPN technologies (IPSEC, SSL, WebVPN, Any Connect, DMVPN, etc.) and CCNA and MCSE certification are essential. Experience in building and maintaining fiber optics network and certifications e.g. CCNP, C|HFI, CCSP, SOC Analyst, ISO 27001, CISA or CEH will be given preference.
>>Junior Software Architect:
Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s Degree in CS/CSE or relevant field from any UGC approved university. Higher degrees in the relevant discipline or experience in a foreign institution will be given preference.
Work Experience: At least 5 (Five) years of working experience as Software Developer/Engineer or similar role, of which at least 3 (Three) years in Software Development and Coding in various languages (C#, .NET, Java etc.). Previous experience of work in similar kind of government project will be given preference.
Knowledge/Certification: Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture, UML and other modeling methods and familiarity with HTML/CSS, JavaScript and UI/UX design are essential. Certification of Software Architect (CSA)-available online, IT Architect (CITA-P) and SOA Architect will be given preference.

Contract Duration: A maximum of 17 (Seventeen) Man Months (From 15/12/2021 or later).
Remuneration: Negotiable (VAT and TAX will be deducted as per government rules and regulation).
>>Junior Software Architect:
Contract Duration: A maximum of 16 (Sixteen) Man Months (From 15/12/2021 or later).
Remuneration: Negotiable (VAT and TAX will be deducted as per government rules and regulation).
