| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

(a) Required Minimum Qualification, (b) Experience
a. Educational Qualification:
• Master’s in Environmental Science /Environmental Engineering/ other relevant subjects.
b. Experience:
• The consultant should have at least 10 years of experience and understanding on strategic planning and implementation, project monitoring and evaluation preferably with water sector infrastructure projects.
• Experience in World Bank/ADB or other development partner funded project will be an added advantage.
• Prior experience of preparing one or more Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) or ESMF (Environmental and Social Management Framework) in accordance with World Bank Safeguard Policy/ESF requirements is a plus.
• Understanding of World Bank’s Environmental Safeguard related Policy, Directive, Standards and Procedure.

The Applicants are invited to provide information in details indicating their qualification to perform the services (complete CV along with description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, general qualifications and financial proposal).
The Consultant will be hired and contracted as per the “Selection of Individual Consultants (SIC)” Selection method of World Bank Procurement Regulations (PR), July, 2016 (Revised November 2017 and August 2018). Duration of the consultancy services will be 58 months or project closing date or credit/loan closing date, whichever is earlier. The TOR is available at the DPHE website (http:www.dphe.gov.bd).
Expressions of interest must be delivered in a written form to the address below (in person, or by mail, or by e-mail) by 13 October, 2021 within 3:00 PM and clearly marked “Expression of Interest”, contract package number, name of the position applied for and name and address of the individual.
