INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT

| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
The approved project entitled “Modernization and Capacity Enhancement of REB Network (Khulna Division)” funded by Asian Development Bank (ADB), GoB and Own Fund of Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board (REB).
The main objectives of the project:
1) To upgrade and enhance capacity of rural electrical distribution network.
2) To meet increasing demand of electricity.
3) To ensure uninterrupted, reliable, affordable & efficient power supply through building reliable distribution system.
4) To reduce system loss of the distribution system.

| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |
: |
1. The Consulting Firms should have at least 10 years experience in Electrical Consulting services of distribution system and have a full-fledged staff set-up that will be capable of doing the work.
2. The firm must have financial capability to handle the services of the similar activities and yearly turn over is at least 25 lacs in last 05 (Five) years.
3. The Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board (REB) now invites expression of Interest (EOI) from eligible Consulting firm/ consortium (National) for above mentioned 05 Sub-Packages under “Modernization and Capacity Enhancement of REB Network (Khulna Division) Modernization and Capacity Enhancement of BREB Network (Khulna Division)” Project to indicate their interests in providing the services. The following criteria will be followed for short-listing.
a) Establishment of the firm
v) Qualification of the firm
c) Availability of the key staff
d) Physical resources
e) Experience in power distribution system
f) Overall experience
g) Specific experience |

The expression of interest (EOI) of each Sub-Package must be submitted separately in three sets (one original set and two set of photocopy) in hard copy on or before the specified date & time to the office of undersigned, and be clearly marked “Request for expressions of Interest” (EOI) mentioning the name of the Sub-Package & PBS’s. The proposals (applications) will be opened on 08/08/2021 at 3:00 PM Bangladesh local time in presence of the representatives of the EOI applicant (if any). The firm will be short-listed in accordance with the "Public Procurement Regulation (PPR)-2008.
