Smokeless tobacco is widely used in South East Asian countries. A remarkable number of women particularly in rural area of Bangladesh use smokeless tobacco. Smokeless tobacco contains several hazardous substances like smoked tobacco that is harmful to health. In addition to adverse health effect, smokeless tobacco has also economic burden on individuals. Considering the above, Health Economics Unit (HEU) of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has decided to conduct a study on assessment of health, poverty, and financial consequences of smokeless tobacco consumption among women in Bangladesh. |
| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

To be selected, the organization must have the following:
• Familiarity with the health, nutrition and population sector program
• Extensive expertise on economic evaluation
• Extensive expertise on healthcare related exercise (experience on tobacco related exercise will be considered as added value)
• Proven ability to manage and conduct large data set
• Expertise in use of STATA/SPSS statistical software for data analysis
• Proven expertise in quality report writing & policy recommendations in English
