| Brief Description of Assignment |

The Consulting services (the ‘Services’) will include but not be limited to the following. Details are given in the Terms of Reference (ToR):
• Support management, monitoring and promotion of the Project
• Capacity building for credit appraisal, credit risk management, credit monitoring, and market analysis of agribusiness and food processing industries to BIFFL
• Capacity building for business management and food safety management to end-borrowers including potential ones
• Assistance for coordination among relevant stakeholders of the Project and with other similar types of the project by other development partners, and public and private sectors
• Provide on-the-job training to relevant BIFFL officials during the due diligence process.

The Consultants will be short-listed based on the following criteria:
Core business and years in business; Relevant Experience (compatible size, complexity, and technical specialty); Technical and managerial capability of the firm; Financial capacity/soundness of the firm (Turnover, Net worth, Profit etc.)

Consultants may associate with other firms to enhance their qualifications but should indicate clearly whether the association is in the form of a joint venture and/or a sub-consultancy. In the case of a joint venture, all the partners in the joint venture shall be jointly and severally liable for the entire contract, if selected.
A consulting firm will be selected in accordance with the Quality and Cost Based Selection method set out in the Guidelines for the Employment of Consultant under Japanese ODA Loans (latest) of JICA. |
