INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT

| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
The Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) now invites eligible Individual Consultants (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. The services include for (i) Sr. Environmental Specialist: Assist the Project Management Unit (PMU) in monitoring the environmental screening, impact assessment, implementation and preparation of Environmental Management Plans (EMP) & associated Reports for (ii) Training Specialist: assist PMU on curriculum design, training module preparation, preparation of training materials for different courses as specified in the project documents, preparation of training calendar and training execution plan, organize workshop, seminars and conference under the project, etc. and for (iii) ICT Specialist: Provide technical support to the PMU and the senior management of LGED, maintenance and updating of different customized software, develop performance monitoring and evaluation tools, etc. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services.
Consultants are requested to submit supporting documents in support of the above-mentioned criteria, qualification requirements and the information required as mentioned in the ToR. |
| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

i. Sr. Environmental Specialist (Package No. AF-S3) - 10 months [Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science/Engineering, Civil Engineering or Geography; post graduate degree in environmental science/engineering would be preferred; Minimum Experience: 20 years of general experience with 15 years of specific experience will be required; ideally in a position of environmental specialist in a road development project].
ii. Training Specialist (Package No. AF-S15) - 10 months [Education: Minimum Master’s degree in any discipline; Foreign post graduate degree in any discipline would be preferred; Minimum Experience: (i) 20 years of professional experience with 10 years of relevant experience of conducting training programs will be required; ideally in a position of training specialist in any institute or in development project; (ii) Fluency in (i.e. writing, reading and speaking) the contract language, which is English. He/She shall be computer literate regarding word processing, spreadsheets, power point and other computer skills].
iii. ICT Specialist (Package No. AF-S8.1) - 10 months (Education: Minimum Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Application or relevant subject from a reputed University; Minimum Experience: A minimum of 12 years of relevant working experience including software, project management, software development, database design, development & management, and network maintenance with at least 8 years of experience dealing with progressively large-scale ICT projects for GoB/Development Partner’s organization). |
