| Brief Description of Assignment |

The Consultant’s responsibilities are monitoring and Evaluation of project related activities (Detail scope of task are mentioned in terms of reference) |
| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |
: |
• Have Master’s Degree in Economics/Statistics/Social science/Urban Development Management/B.Sc. Civil Engineering with Business Management or equivalent;
• At least 8(Eight)years working experience in development projects especially on project processing, implementation, M&E, etc. with some experience in results-based M&E systems;
• Extensive knowledge of M&E methodologies i.e. both quantitative and qualitative data collection, processing, and analysis;
• Excellent computer skills and familiarity with standard office software;
• Proven experience and solid understanding of the urban sector with a focus on infrastructure development
• Demonstration of strong analytical and research skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English;
• Strong interpersonal and team building skills;
• The potential candidate having previous experience in World Bank financed project shall get preference.
In addition, she/he should be:
• familiar with the logical framework approach and other strategic planning approaches, M&E methods and approaches (including quantitative, qualitative and participatory);
• trained in M&E development and implementation, information/data analysis and report writing

The Project Director now invites eligible applicants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Applicants are invited to provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (complete CV, attested experience certificated, Expected remuneration & Submission letter).
Detailed Terms of Reference (TOR) will be available upon request from the address provided below either through email or in person.
The consultants will be selected using the selection of Individual Consultant in accordance with the current World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers, July 2016 updated in November 2018.
The services will be commenced immediately after selection at Dhaka, Bangladesh. Consultant’s contract duration will be of 48(forty eight) months with possible extension of service subject to satisfactory performance to be evaluated yearly.
Expressions of Interest shall be submitted by 20/07/2020 during office hours on weekdays in sealed envelope sent to Project Director’s office, and be clearly marked "Expressions of Individual Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist- National (Package no DCNUP/S-14)”
