| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
The services includes: (i) To supervise the construction works as per design and specification, (ii) To ensure both quality and quantity of the construction works, (iii) To ensure the operation service level of the National Highway, (iv) To recommend and verify bill of quantities (BOQ) submitted by the contractors, (v) To ensure proper testing of the materials, works and construction method, (vi) To provide consultancy services as per requirements of RHD and to follow the necessary remedial measures of construction works from the direction of RHD, (vii) To seek suggestions/inspections from panel of experts and implement accordingly. The service shall be completed within 4 (years) from the date of commence (main construction work will be completed within 12 months and the following maintenance works will be completed within the next 36 months).

The experience, resources and delivery capacity required: Submitted EoIs will be evaluated based on the following:
1. Brochures & registration of the firm(s);
2. Legal establishment of the firm(s) (TIN, VAT Registration, Trade License etc.)
3. General and overall experience of the firm(s) (limited to three pages);
4. Experience of the firm(s) in similar service (supervision of ‘Dense Bituminous Surfacing (DBS) works using Polymer Modified Bitumen’) during the last 10 years mentioning cost and duration. Experience certificate of successful completion of similar service(s) shall be submitted by the consulting firm(s). The experience certificate shall expressly mention whether the service is related to “supervision of ‘Dense Bituminous Surfacing (DBS) works using Polymer Modified Bitumen”. Sole applicant(s) or at least one partner of a joint venture applicant(s) shall have the required similar experience of “supervision of Dense Bituminous Surfacing (DBS) works using Polymer Modified Bitumen”;
5. No experience shall be considered for evaluation if respective appropriate experience certificate is not submitted along with the EOI;
6. Average annual turnover of the firm(s) during the last 5 (three) years; and
7. Summary of permanent professional employees with key qualifications (including academic qualification and experience adequacy to perform the assignment).

Interested reputed consulting firm/joint venture firms are invited to submit EoI enclosing only the required information mentioned above. In case of association, the applicants must have to specifically mention the association type (i.e. joint venture or sub-consultancy). In case of sub-consultancy, the sole applicant or lead partner of a JV applicant must have to provide certificate/declaration regarding the sub-consultancy association.
