INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT

| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
a) Procurement Specialist (Nos.1): Procurement Specialist will work under the project Director for such task as he/she may be assigned but will be responsible for the following:
• Will assist the Project Director for the implementation of the project.
• Work with the concerned officials of the Ministry, Departments, Institutions & other related agencies for all kinds of financial issues of the project.
• Identify the tasks and report regularly to the Project Director.
• Prepare Annual Procurement Plan of the project and will review the progress quarterly.
• Prepare working papers, proceedings of different meetings, schedules & specification for procurement of Goods, Works and Services according PPR -2008
• Prepare working paper to establish Public Private Partnership (PPP) contract agreement.
• Any other works as assigned by the Project Director from time to time
b) Network Specialist (IP) (Nos.1): Network Specialist (IP) will work under the project Director and Deputy Project Director (Technical) for such task as he/she may be assigned but will be responsible for the following:
• Lead the team engaged in supervision of Site Survey, Network Design & Implementation;
• Will assist the Deputy Project Director (Technical) for related works of the Project scope.
• Work with the concerned officials of the Project, BCC, and Ministry, Departments, Institutions & other related agencies for implementation of the project.
• Will co-ordinate and manage task related to Project scope.
• Will identify the tasks to be performed and will report regularly to the Deputy Project Director / Project Director
• Any other tasks as assigned by the Deputy Project Director / Project Director from time to time.
c) Network Specialist (Transmission) (Nos.1): Network Specialist (Transmission) will work under the project Director and Deputy Project Director for such task as he/she may be assigned but will be responsible for the following:
• Lead the team engaged in supervision of Site Survey, Network Design & Implementation works of the OSP& DWDM network;
• Assist the Project Director and Deputy Project Director related to startup management;
• He/she will be responsible for selection of startup proposal selection;
• Develop strategy the team to reach the goal of the project;
• Communicate clear instructions to team members and manage the flow of day-to-day operation;
• Assist in monitoring and reviewing the progress of project activities according to the DPP;
• Ensure collection and compilation of project related data for preparing quarterly, annual and periodical progress reports for information to all concerned;
• Such other functions as may be assigned by higher authority.
d) Maintenance Engineer (Power) (Nos.1): Maintenance Engineer (Power) will work under the project Director and Deputy Project Director for such task as he/she may be assigned but will be responsible for the following:
• Lead the team engaged in supervision of site survey, design & implementation for setup of site power system;
• Assist the Project Director and Deputy Project Director related to startup management;
• He/she will be responsible for selection of startup proposal selection;
• Develop strategy the team to reach the goal of the project;
• Communicate clear instructions to team members and manage the flow of day-to-day operation;
• Assist in monitoring and reviewing the progress of project activities according to the DPP;
• Ensure collection and compilation of project related data for preparing quarterly, annual and periodical progress reports for information to all concerned;
• Such other functions as may be assigned by higher authority.
e) Junior Network Specialist (Transmission) (Nos 7): Junior Network Specialist (Transmission) will work under the Deputy Project Director (Technical) & Network Specialist for such task as he/she may be assigned but will be responsible for the following:
• Lead the team engaged in monitor &supervision of Site Survey, Network Design & Implementation works of the OSP & DWDM network at division level
• Communicate clear instructions to team members and manage the flow of day-to-day operation;
• Assist in monitoring and reviewing the progress of project activities according to the DPP;
• Ensure collection and compilation of project related data for preparing quarterly, annual and periodical progress reports for information to all concerned;
• Such other functions as may be assigned by higher authority.

| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

(a) Procurement Specialist (Nos.1):
• Graduate in Science/IT/Engineering/BBA/MBA/ Similar Subject
• Experience in 10 years' experience in PPR, Financial Activities.
• Experience on Public Private Partnership (PPP) Activities will get preference;
(b) Network Specialist (IP) (Nos.1):
• Bachelor in Computer Science / EEE or equivalent;
• 10 years’ experience in IP Network
• International project accomplishments will have preference;
• Experience in similar position will get preference;
• Experience may be relaxed in the case of highly qualified person or person with exceptional experience and meeting all other requirements
(c) Network Specialist (Transmission) (Nos.1):
• Bachelor in Computer Science / EEE or equivalent; 10 years’
• Experience in OSP & DWDM Network
• International project accomplishments will have preference;
• Experience in similar position will get preference;
• Experience may be relaxed in the case of highly qualified person or person with exceptional experience and meeting all other requirements
(d) Maintenance Engineer (Power) (Nos.1)
• Bachelor in Computer Science / EEE or equivalent; 07 years’
• Experience in Network Infrastructure, DC power System
• International project accomplishments will have preference;
• Experience in similar position will get preference;
• Experience may be relaxed in the case of highly qualified person or person with exceptional experience and meeting all other requirements.
(e) Junior Network Specialist (Transmission) (Nos. 7):
• Bachelor in Computer Science / EEE or equivalent; 07 years’
• Experience in OSP & DWDM Network
• International project accomplishments will have preference;
• Experience in similar position will get preference;
• Experience may be relaxed in the case of highly qualified person or person with exceptional experience and meeting all other requirements.
