Short Term Training Programs: The Training Management firm will be responsible for management of local and overseas training of officers of the BREB/PBS. The training management firm will identify and select suitable training institutions and sites for training in reputed country and prepare detailed training modules, programs, assistance with note verbal/Visa processing and all other related activities/ logistical arrangements in the destination country to make the program a success. Training should be arranged through reputed training Organizations/Universities/ research organizations/ training institutions. The Training will include: • Class room lectures, discussions and tutorials • Practical demonstrations • Field and site visits and study tours • Multimedia presentations • Use of simulators/models • Case study • Pre and post evaluation of the trainees Area of Training (Foreign): • Efficient Distribution Network Planning & Design • Modern/ New Distribution Materials and Equipment • New Techniques of Distribution line Up- gradation and Rehabilitation • Electric Distribution System Operation and Maintenance. • Technical and Non-Technical Loss Reduction Methodology • Effective Project Planning Tools and Project Management • Introducing GIS System in Electricity Distribution System. • Development of Participatory Management System in RE Program. • Economic and Social Impact of RE Program Area of Training (Local): • Electrical Distribution Design & Planning • Electrical Distribution System Operation & Maintenance • Technical Loss Reduction Methodology • Introducing GIS System in Electrical Distribution System • Economic Analysis of Electric Utility • Economic and Social Impact of RE Program • Participatory Management System in Electric Co-operative system • Transformer Operation, Maintenance & Repair • Voltage Regulator/ ACR/OCR Operation, Maintenance & Repair |

a. Minimum 5 years’ experience in overseas long and short-term training/study tour management activities for large organizations, such as: different ministries/division/autonomous bodies/non-government organizations. b. Experience of successful implementation of overseas training program at least one contract valued $240,000 for government and non-government organizations within last 03 (three) years. c. Availability of office (Ownership/rental) in Bangladesh. d. Organizational profile having adequate permanent manpower, office equipment and logistic support (List of permanent manpower to be submitted). e. Overseas training partnership/regional/global networking with other international and regional training organization/institute will be required. The intending firms should submit evidences of partnership in the form of agreement or any other form of mutual collaboration signed with the organizations engaged in training of civil/public officials. f. Specific experience of completing 03 (three) similar overseas training and study visit programs in last 5 (five) years (completion certificates to be submitted). |

Interested firms are invited to provide information and produce documents indicating that they are competent to perform the service (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar activities with proper documentation, trade, license, VAT, income tax certificate, financial solvency certificate etc). A Training Service Provider will be selected in accordance with the QCBS method set out in ADB's “Guidelines on The Use of Consultants”. Expressions of interest must be submitted online through ADB Consultant Management System website (cms.adb.org) within the time mentioned in the system. No hard copy submission will be allowed.
