| Brief Description of Assignment |

The People’s Republic of Bangladesh has received financing from the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) towards the cost of Urban Water Supply and Sanitation in 23 Pourashavas Project in Bangladesh, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consultancy services.The services include Supervision and Technical Support of water supply, sanitation and waste management facilities in the 23 Pourashavas. The General Procurement Notice (GPN) of the project has already been published in the International Newspaper “Asharq al Awsat” on 16/02/2018, in National Daily newspaper “The Daily Observer” and “The Daily Ittefaq” on 19/02/2018 as well as published in IsDB Website on 18/02/2018 and dgMarket Website on 19/02/2018.
The Department of Public Health Engineering (DPHE) of The Ministry of Local Government Rural Development and Co-operatives now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services.Interested consultants must provide specific information which demonstrates that they are fully qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Experience in the following area or tasks shall be the minimum requirement for the assignment: Project Management, Detail Engineering Design, preparation of Bid Documents, Construction Supervision, Monitoring and Evaluation, Community Development Supervision along with the preparation of Environmental and safeguard report and O&M manual.

Consultants from IDB member countries may express interests in the form of association, validated by an agreement among members of the association which clearly specifies the type of association, i.e. a Joint Venture(s), intermediate forms of association, or sub consultancy.
Aconsultant will be selectedin accordance with the procedures set out in the Guidelines for the Use of Consultants under Islamic Development Bank Financing (current edition) using quality and cost based (QCBS) selection method.
