| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
Jhenaidah Palli Bidyut Samity services area consists of Jhenaidah Sadar, Kaliganj, Kotchandpur,Moheshpur, Sailkupa and Horinakunda Thanas. The objective of the PBS is to provide electric power and energy to each village located within its geographical/Service area for irrigation Pumping, food Processing, Cottage industries, Commercial Centers, health and Social Services and family dwellings. This objective is to be achieved through the Area Coverage Rural Electrification (ACRE) Concept by constructing, Operating and maintaining Lines up to 33 kv, extending lines from existing distribution system. Each potential Consumer within the PBS service area may become a member of the PBS, the membership being obtained by application and payment of nominal subscription fee.Providing electric power and energy to its consumer-members at the lowest cost Possible consistent with sound economy and good management is a prime prerequisite of the PBS.

1. The Consulting Firms Should have at least 5 years experience in Electrical Consulting services of distribution system and have a full competent of staff that will be capable of doing the work.
2. The firm must have financial capability to handle the services of the similar activities and turn over of similar activities are at least 10 lacs in last 05 (Five) years.
3. Jhenaidah Palli Bidyut Samity now invites expression of Interests in providing the services. Interested consulting firms must provide following information:

b) Professional qualifications and experience of employees & other associates of the firm. 1) Graduate Electrical Engineer.

The scope of the consultancy services are :
1) Field investigation, load data collection, Design of distribution system and Review of Master Plan.
2) Design, Staking and Supervision of new lines and Sub-Stations, WZPDCL/other taken over lines and Sub-station and preparation of bill of materials of these.
3) Preparation of work plan for taken over line.
4) Updating key map & Detail map and As-Built Single line operational diagram.
5) Maintenance, planning and design.
6) Preparation of As- Built Staking Sheet and close out documents for lines & Sub-stations.
7) Preparation of study Report (System Loss, Sectionalizing, power factor, Voltage drop and any other study.)
8) Study of sub-station expansion/Extension/Renovation and preparation of layout, foundation etc.
9) System Analysis and improvement of it.
10) Collection of Each and every pole instead of key pole data for HT line (only 33 kv) and noting Each and every pole location in gps receiver instead of key pole location. On-site processing of GPS data and convert them to GIS data for,at. Daily field verification of a minimum of 10% of key poles for verifying accuracy of field data and geographical locations, keeping record as per specified format (Inventory Sheet of GIS) and correction of defective data on the following day. Collected field data upload in computer on daily basis.
11) Others as Required
Other Details:
The Expression of interest (EOI) must be submitted in Three sets (one original set and two sets of photo copy) in hard copy on or before specified date & time to the office of undersigned, to the directorate of PBS Monitoring & Management operation (South Zone), BREB, H/Q Building (9th floor) nikunja-2, Dhaka-1229 and be clearly marked Request for expressions of Interest (EOI) mentioning the name of the PBS. The proposals (applications) will be opened on 13-03-2018 at 10:00 AM Bangladesh local time in presence of the representatives of the EOI applicant (if any). Short listing will be made in accordance with the “Public Procurement Regulation (PPR)-2008
