INFORMATION FOR TENDERER

The following experience & qualification is required:
(A) Financial Capability
(i) The Bidder must have minimum amount of liquid asset in the form of working capital or credit facility of BDT 41 million or USD 5,00,000 for each lot, regardless of size of the lot.
(ii) The tenderer participating in multiple lots they must have cumulative financial capability for those lots.
(B) Experience and Technical Capacity
(i) Experience: The minimum of years of general experience of the Tenderer/tenderer in the supply of Goods and related services as Supplier shall be 02 (two) years.
? Years counting backward from the date of publication of IFT in the news paper.
The minimum specific experience as Supplier in supply of similar Goods [Printing, Binding & Supplying of Books] of at least 02 (two) contracts successfully completed participating any tender within the last 05 (five) years, each with a value of at least Tk. 1,00,00,000 (One crore). Last experience certificate from NCTB must be submitted.
? Years counting backward from the date of publication of IFT in the newspaper.
(ii) Technical Capacity: The minimum supply and/or production capacity of Goods is/are:
(a) The Tenderer must have own sufficient machinaries for cover printing and 4 (four) colour Web offset printing machine (capable of white glossy coated Art printing paper GSM 80 ? 2%)/ 4 (four) colour sheet machine (capable of white glossy coated Art printing paper GSM 80 ? 2%) for works book.
(b) Must have own Web machine for printing of exercise books.
(c) The Tenderer must have own U.V (Ultra varnish) machine for cover printing of the package.
(d) Must have own Auto bundle machine for bundling the package.
(e) The minimum production capacity of printing and Auto binding machineries of teaching package in 25 days shall be 50% in quantity of each lot to qualify for each lot.
(f) Production Capacity of the printing and binding machine :
(i) 04 (Four) Colour Sheet Machine-80 Reams per day.
(ii) 04 (Four) Colour Web Offset Printing Machine-400 Reams per day.
(iii) For binding-3000 books per clam.
(g) Tenderers participating in multiple lots must have required experience and technical capacity for those lots.
(h) Number of declared machineries and their location shall be verified. The tenderes those who have not such type of machineries they will be declared as non-responsive at the time tender evaluation.
(i) The Tender will fill-up the following table including brief description (With location of the Machineries) of printing, binding & storage facilities:

(j) A Printing Unit shall have a set of printing machinaries along with all equipment (binding UV lamination, cutting, bundling, etc machines) to furnish a set of complete books in the same premises of minimum 1000 sqft.Multiple PrintingUnits are acceptable considering the mentioned criteria. Address of all Printing Units must be mentioned in the tender and the printing and binding works must be done in that/those premises.Within the contract period Supplier/Manufacturer must not use this place for any other printing works. Each Printing Place/Rooms will be fully covered by closed-circuit television (CCTV) IP cameras which will be monitorable by NCTB through online.
(k) If any sub-contractor appointed under GCC 15.2, its capacity also included into the technical capacity. Sub-contractor must have necessary machineries to execute the sub-contract.
