| Reference Description | : | The Works under the Lot will consist of: Phase-1: Construction Phase: Improvement of existing Highway section into 4-Lane with Service Lanes on both Side throughout the road including structures as follows: Road pavement 15.9 km Culvert 22 Nos Bridge 2 Nos Vehicular Overpass (VOP) 3 Nos. Pedestrian Overpass (POP) 2 Nos. Foot Over Bridge 1 Nos. Slope and Embankment Protection Misc. works items of Sign Signal, Guard rail, ITS and OFC, Road Marking etc. Phase-2: Performance Based Maintenance Works: Consist of all activities to be carried out by the Contractor to achieve and keep the road performance as defined in the Performance Based Maintenance Specifications, and all activities related to their management. In addition to Routine Maintenance Works and Preventive Maintenance works, this also includes Emergency Works consisting of activities needed to reinstate any road asset which might have been damaged as a result of natural or manmade phenomena such as storms, flooding, earthquakes, accidents, etc. as detailed in the Works Requirement Section VII: Technical Specifications. |
