On 17 March 2020, the Ministry of Planning observed with due honour the birth centenary of the Father of the Nation Bangbandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

On this august occasion, the Planning Division arranged a discussion meeting at the NEC auditorium on the Planning Ministry Campus at She-e-Bangla Nagar in Dhaka.

Honourable Planning Minister Mr. MA Mannan, MP was present in the discussion as the chief guest. Secretary, IMED, Mr. Abul Mansur Md Faizullah, ndc and other officials were present with Secretary, Planning Division, Mr Md. Nurul Amin, in the chair.

As part of the celebration of the Mujib’s Birth Centenary, Hon. Planning Minister planted saplings on the IMED campus.

The IMED Secretary and officials were with the Minister at that time. The Minister also opened a ‘Mujib Corner’ inside the IMED Library.

The IMED Secretary led a rally and a Doa Mahfil organized on the occasion. Officials of IMED and CPTU attended the programmes.
