| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
The aim of the tender is to implement a Multi-Platform GIS-based Application for the Management of the entire Distribution Network for WZPDCL. This system will manage high, medium, and low voltage sub-transmission/distribution networks (33kV, 11kV, and low voltage) and integrate customer data, consumer meter data and network characteristics. The system will facilitate loss reduction measures and the development of cost-effective schemes for power network improvements including interfacing with electrical network analysis software. |

The German Cooperation through KfW is financing the modernization of power distribution and implementation of smart grid with the objective to contribute to a reduction of greenhouse gas emissions as well as to a safer, more reliable and more stable electricity supply. Under this programme, a budget is allocated for implementing GIS Mapping System covering WZPDCL’s entire distribution area.
The qualification of experienced applicant is subject to the regulations contained in the latest KfW procurement Guidelines for the Procurement of Consulting Services, Works, Goods, Plant and Non-Consulting Services in Financial Cooperation with Partner Countries available at https://www.kfw-entwicklungsbank.de/PDF/Download-Center/PDF-Dokumente-Richtlinien/FZ-Vergaberichtlinien-V-2021-EN.pdf
