| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
to prepare Detailed Structural Design, Detailed Engineering Drawing, Detailed Engineer’s Estimate, Construction Methodology, Construction Material Specification, Technical Specification, Operation and future Maintenance methodology and other relevant document as described in the Terms of Reference for the assignment. The Structural form of the bridge will be of Cable Stayed Bridge type or any other form of cost-effective long span bridge structure to meet the provision of navigational clearance of Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA) for Garai River and as per requirement in the detailed Terms of Reference. |

The consultant should have experience in Cable Stayed Bridge Design of individual span of min. 150m. The consultant should have sufficient capacity in terms of Key Experts and equipment. |

Consultants may associate with other firms to enhance their qualifications, and, if association formed, should mention whether the association is in the form of “Joint Venture” or “Sub-Consultancy”. It is preferable to limit the total number of firms in an association including the Lead Firm to 03 (Three) and JV agreement of association shall be binding upon the consultant and shall be submitted with the EOI. The consultant will be selected in accordance with the Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) method as per PPA-2006 and PPR-2008. |
