INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT

| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
GIS Expert [Package no- SD-5] [No of Posts.-01]:
a) Formulation and submission of GIS detailed planning and implementation structure for land survey (cadastral) operations.
b) To provide expert advice on GIS related activities in project implementation.
c) Provide technical advice and supervision in development of DLSS and cadastral map software. Receiving developed software through appropriate testing.
d) Perform any other duties assigned by the Project Director related to project work.
GIS Programmer [Package no- SD-8] [No of Posts.-01]:
a) Technical review and implementation of programming for GIS interface of online cadastral map software (including desktop version) to be developed for the project.
b) GIS map Database design, Security assurance and implementation plan preparation.
c) Review and implement required technical usability of Mauza map database.
d) Perform any duties assigned by the Project Director related to project work.
Assistant Programmer [Package no- SD-12] [No of Posts.-03]:
a) Carrying out the overall responsibility of the data center/server stations, promptly informing the higher authority if any problem occurs.
b) Providing technical assistance and support. Perform network systems programming and maintenance.
c) Analyzing program specifications, modify, develop, and administer complex, customized software applications for special projects or to automate current manual systems.
d) Install, modify, and maintain hardware and software.
e) Maintaining data center /server stations.
f) Preparation of specification for data center/server stations equipment, other IT equipment and software.
g) Technical inspection of the specification and performance of the purchased IT equipment, data center equipment and receive.
h) Perform any duties assigned by the Project authorities.

GIS Expert [Package no- SD-5] [No of Posts.-01]:
Educational Qualifications:
(a) Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Geography / Geography & Environment / Geology / Geometrics / Urban & Regional Planning /CSE / Civil Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Computer Science / Information & Communication Technology (ICT/IT) / Management Information System (MIS) from any recognized University.
(b) Higher degrees in Geography / Geography & Environment / Geology / Geometrics / Urban & Regional Planning /CSE / Civil Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Computer Science / Information & Communication Technology (ICT/IT) / Management Information System (MIS) will be given preference.
Relevant Working Experience:
(a) Minimum 05 (five) years working experience as GIS Technologist/GIS Analyst/GIS Developer or similar positions.
(b) Having Experience using ArcGIS, Google Earth Engine, Pix4D software will be given preference.
(c) Having Experience using Python/R and JavaScript programming languages for GIS analysis work will be an added advantage.
(d) Having Experience working in Web GIS technology will be an added advantage.
(e) Having Professional Certification as a GIS expert from an international organization will have an added advantage.
GIS Programmer [Package no- SD-8] [No of Posts.-01]:
Educational Qualifications:
(a) Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Geography / Geography & Environment / Geology / Geometrics / Urban & Regional Planning / CSE / Civil Engineering / Electrical & Electronic Engineering / Computer Science / Information & Communication Technology (ICT/IT) / Management Information system (MIS) from any recognized University.
(b) Higher degrees in Geography / Geography & Environment / Geology / Geometrics / Urban & Regional Planning / CSE / Civil Engineering / Electrical & Electronic Engineering / Computer Science / Information & Communication Technology (ICT/IT) / Management Information System (MIS) will be given preference.
Relevant Working Experience:
(a) Minimum 05 (five) years working experience as GIS Analyst / GIS Programmer or similar positions.
(b) Having working experience in Python / Arcpy/ R / JavaScript / GIS Programming & WebGIS with google earth engine will be given preference.
Assistant Programmer [Package no- SD-12] [No of Posts.-03]:
Educational Qualifications:
(a) Minimum Graduation in Computer Science & Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Information & Communication Technology / Equivalent discipline from any recognized University.
(b) Higher degrees in Computer Science & Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Information & Communication Technology / Equivalent discipline will be given preference.
Relevant Experience:
(a) Having experience in the relevant field will be given preference.
(b) Practical experience of working in a data center will be given preference.

b) Applicants shall have to submit their EoI along with a forwarding letter, complete CV (in prescribed format) and relevant documents in support of educational qualifications & experience in a sealed envelope clearly marked/labeled as “Expression of Interest for ‘GIS Expert [Package no- SD-5]” or “Expression of Interest for GIS Programmer [Package no- SD-8]” or “Expression of Interest for Assistant Programmer [Package no- SD-12]” to the following address.
c) A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the Public Procurement Act- 2006 and the Public Procurement Rules-2008 (as amended).
