| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
The objective of this assignment is to establish an integrated real-time Market Intelligence Platform (MIP) to help the targeted export sectors of EC4J project with relevant information and insight about the global trends of the sectors and their value chains. The MIP will be one of its kind robust online platform for the four targeted export sectors to access domestic and international market data and deep sector analyses, gather insights about the sectors’ global trends, buyers’ profile and behavior, material sourcing, price comparisons, duty structure and advantages/challenges, regulations in the destination markets, logistical analysis, etc.
The consulting services (“the Services”) include but not limited to:
-Technical Platform Development
- Develop webpage & smartphone App architecture and UX design;
-Testing, validation, activation, operating and management of the MIP.
- IT infrastructure
- Knowledge Partnership for Information Sourcing.
- Partnership for Sector Engagement
- Research & Content Development
- Consultation, Needs Assessments & Marketing Skills Training
- Digital Contents, Social Media Campaign & SEO |

The short-listing criteria are:
-The Consultant must have the legal capacity to enter into the contract with proven track record of similar assignments for the last 7 years;
? The Consultant should have demonstrable experience of developing and managing Digital Market Information Platform;
- The Consultant must have extensive professional expertise and hands-on experience in conducting international trade and economic analysis for Bangladesh’s exporting sectors;
- Experienced research team including international trade and economic analysts;
- Sound knowledge about global sourcing information ecosystems and handling buyers’ online behavior;
- A sound understanding of Bangladesh export markets, customers and their requirements.
The consultant will be required to submit necessary supporting documents to understand the experience for evaluation. |

Consultants are requested to submit the following supporting documents in support of the above-mentioned criteria:
(a) Up To Date Relevant Registration and Legal documents of the Consultant(s);
(b) JV agreement/letter of intent (if applicable);
(c) Brochure/Company Profile including staffing;
(d) Audited Financial Reports for Last Three Financial Years
(e) General Experience of Last Seven Years and Specific Work Experience Record (including nature, total cost of contract, total input in terms of man month, employer, location of work etc.)
(f) All other items necessary to Substantiate Satisfaction of the Shortlisting Criteria Listed above and/or included in the TOR; However, Key Experts will not be evaluated at the short-listing stage; |
