Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required: The firm should be a registered under the joint stock company society act (Bangladesh) and should have at least 10 years of experience in feasibility study/baseline survey/evaluation, impact assessment and related works in different adaptability/livelihoods/food security/agricultural projects. It should have experienced and qualified manpower for conducting feasibility study, baseline survey, monitoring & evaluation, impact assessment and related work in different adaptability/livelihoods/food security/agricultural projects. The firm should have office premise with furniture, computers, photocopier, valid trade license and Tax VAT registration and associated firm, if any should have 5 years of experience in feasibility study, baseline survey, evaluation, impact assessment, monitoring & evaluation and related work in different adaptability/livelihoods/food security/agricultural projects. The firm must have Bank solvency. Firm having experience in working with donor funded especially FAO/ADB/World Bank will be given Priority. |

The scope of work and specific tasks of the service provider is to identify the most vulnerable villages from the target Upazilas using appropriate methodology, criteria and scale which is validated by the key stakeholders and to conduct detail village level vulnerability risk assessment in the aforementioned nine upazilas of HBT, CHT and Waterlogged/saline prone regions of Bangladesh using PRA tools such as FGD (Focussed Group Discussion), KII, vulnerability mapping, disaster mapping, livelihood calendar, gender analysis, poverty ranking, natural resource mapping and representative household survey. The firm will process and analyse the collected data and information (qualitative and quantitative) using sophisticated methodology and statistical/econometric software (STATA/R/Python), and GIS application (ArcGIS/QGIS); and produce region specific analytical reports, region specific policy briefs, and a synthesis report covering findings of all the three regions and deliver the soft and printed copies of the reports. Organizing inception meeting, and local and national level validation workshop to validate the key findings will be the part of the assessment. |
